A contract
manufacturer of network routers and hubs uses a bushless motorized roller conveyor
system, controlled by OmniCons, to transport finished products from final assembly/test
directly to trucks for shipment.
This OmniCon system utilized
zero-pressure accumulation to ensure no contact between expensive units. The ability
to use motorized roller incline and decline allowed the customer to have forklift
access to the other side of the conveyor system. This was essential because incoming
parts needed to be transported by forklift to racks which where located on opposite
side of system. |

This assembly system is used by a manufacturer to perform
final test and pack-out of telecommunication products.
This system incorporates
two test and two pack-out stations. The sensitive units
are transported on anti-static trays. Test stations utilize
pushbuttons to call and advance units along system. Workstations,
computers, and test equipment are ergonomically integrated
into brushless motorized roller conveyor system. |

This
system is used to transport, assembly, and distribute docking stations and port
replicators for a leading computer manufacturer.
Completed PCBs are removed
from SMT lines and put onto the transport section of conveyor
system. They are transported to a different building where
the PCB's go through several box-build and final-test
stations, in the assembly section of system. Finally,
the completed units are packed-out and put on the distribution
section of system, where they are ready for shipping.
The entire system utilizes brushless motorized roller
conveyor. |
